Plexr Plasma Treatment
Imagine achieving the same results as traditional cosmetic surgery without the need for scalpels, stitches, or downtime. With the Plexr Plasma soft surgery system, you can do just that! This innovative technology was first launched in Europe in 2012 by the GMV Group, a leading manufacturer based in Italy, and in the United States in 2019.

Plexr Plus is a non-surgical, plasma-based therapy that is extremely safe, minimally invasive, and highly effective. It can be used to treat skin laxity and improve the appearance of the skin. Plasma is the fourth state of matter, made up of ionized particles that are charged. It causes tissues to tighten and boosts collagen production. Unlike surgical treatments for these problems, Plexr Plus does not require general anesthesia, and recovery time is much shorter.
The Plexr Plus creates plasma, the fourth state of matter after solid, liquid, and gas, by ionizing nitrogen in the atmosphere. This allows an immediate contraction, tightening, and reorganization of collagen fibers. It also stimulates skin fibroblast cells in the deeper skin dermis, which leads to the formation of new collagen and a renewal of the epidermal tissue.

Over the past few decades, various modalities have been used for skin resurfacing and rejuvenation, including lasers, chemical peels, light-based energy, radiofrequency, and dermabrasion. Each has its unique properties, as well as advantages and disadvantages.

One of the newest technological advances in this arena is the development of plasma energy to alter the skin surface and architecture. Plexr Plus works by using plasma created from ionized gas molecules in the air. The skin is touched with these gas molecules during the treatment, causing the skin fibers to contract. Treatment with the Plexr consists of a series of these touches so that you can work with precision on particular target areas.
Plexr has a wide range of therapeutic uses, treating several imperfections without actual skin cutting. It can be used for:
-
Eyelid reconstruction (non-surgical blepharoplasty), including resolving baggy lower eyelids and excess upper eyelid skin.
-
Tattoo removal.
-
Skin imperfections and benign lesions include warts, fibromas, pigmentation, and sun spots.
-
Improvement in the appearance of scarring, including post-surgery scars, acne scars, and stretch marks.
-
It enhances lines and wrinkles around the mouth.
-
Facelift and neck lift.
-
Active acne.
Plexr is a non-invasive alternative to traditional surgical procedures, which means less time spent recovering and fewer complications to worry about. Whether you want to rejuvenate your skin, reduce wrinkles, revise scars, or even undergo eyelid surgery, Plexr Plus can help you achieve your desired results with minimal discomfort and downtime.

Immediately after certain treatments (such as eyelids and wrinkle sublimation) a series of fine dots caused by the treatment will appear. These resemble minor scabs ("carbon crusts") and will gradually heal, falling off after around five days to reveal new pink skin underneath. These are easily covered with a concealer temporarily. In some cases, swelling may occur, particularly when treating eyelids, but it typically lasts no more than 3-5 days.
